In the tradition of Project Quantum Leap and Issues, we give you Reissues - a collection of twenty-seven maps by nine different mappers - each of whom created whatever the heck they wanted to without any concern for what the next guy was working on.

Sounds incoherent you say? What about a story? a theme?

HA! we don't need no story! A story would just get in the way!

What we DO have is a collection of really first rate maps by some very talented people.

Reissues is a Spirit of Half-Life mod. The original Half-Life is required to play - but it is compatible with both Steam and WON.

Reissues is currently in Beta Testing, and is not yet available to the general public.

8/7/2007 Well, it's been a long road and taken over a year longer than we originally planned, but we've finally got a fully playable beta ready! Now all we need is a crack team of beta testers - players with an eye for detail, a knack for finding problems, and the ability to offer constructive criticism. If you're interested, head on over to our Forum and volunteer your services!

We're also currently working on a new, somewhat nicer looking website which Lynxian has put together for us. You can take a look at the temporary version of it at http://sethorian.kevin-foster.net/Reissues/ . His host has been somewhat unreliable lately, so if the site appears to be down, please try again later. We are still looking for a permanent host (suggestions are welcome!).

12/22/2006 One more update to the Media page - some screenshots from dred_furst's "encamped" level.

Happy holidays!

12/17/2006 Can it be? an update only two weeks after the last one?

Yes indeed! Snotball and Sjakal have sent in some screenshots of their impressive "Echo Transit" level, now posted on the Media page.

12/6/2006 Reissues is still going. Not very fast, but it is still going. Hopefully over the holidays the team will find time to finish up those maps and get them in.

In the meantime, we do have a few updated screenshots on the Media page.

7/20/2006 We've managed to collect most of the beta map submissions, and soon will be ready to begin serious beta testing. It looks like Reissues should have 20 to 25 maps altogether.

We've added a new, password protected "Team Talk" board to the forum.

5/30/2006 I finally got around to adding the official Reissues level change modules to the downloads pages. These are the standard level changes mentioned in the rules. Very easy to incorporate - I promise!

There are also a few more screenshots on the media page, these from tottmaster_c.

4/23/2006 Lots of new screenshots on the media page.

3/26/2006

Still moving ahead. It looks like we've nailed down most of the outstanding design issues. Beta maps are tentaively due June 15, and we'll be trying to get a release out by the end of Summer. At least that's the plan.

In the meantime, There are several new sceenshots from the members, and I've added another pair of models to the downloads page.

3/8/2006 One more new member, and a number of new files available for download. Thanks to Red Slug for a pair of excellent fire extinguishers, and also to fox1 for a very nice environment map.
3/1/2006 We added two more members, and another model on the downloads page.
2/17/2006 More screenshots on the "Media page". I'm pleased to report that some 28 people have signed up. A list of the members has been posted on the "About" Page.
2/10/2006 I've added a Downloads Page for members. This is where we can post models, textures, sprites, etc. that we want to share with the rest of the group
2/9/2006 You may notice that we've changed our name. Issues 2 has become Reissues. We're off to a great start with 18 mappers signed up and 1 or 2 texture artists. Urbanebula has provided a couple of screenshots from his work, so our media page now has something good to look at.
2/6/2006 I've added a few screenshots to make the website a bit more interesting. At this point they're mostly taken from Spirit of Half-Life demo maps, but they do give an idea of some of the things we can do with Spirit.
2/5/2006 We're underway! Issues2 is officially launched!
